We Are Going Green

We are in the process of converting our lawn maintenance equipment from gasoline to Propane. Why make the change to Propane? Well Propane is:

Eco friendly
Non toxic to ground water, air and soil
Exceeds 2011 EPA emission standards
Burns cleaner than gasoline
97% fewer particulates than gasoline
96% fewer carcinogens than gasoline
48% lower Green House Gas Emissions than gasoline fueled equipment
Safer to use
Closed system no spilling or leaking of propane
Over 85% of propane used in the USA is produced domestically

We will have three of our mowing maintenance trailers completely converted by the spring of 2012. That means all the mowers, Lehr string trimmers and Lehr blowers that we will have working on your property will be running on Propane. Not only will this help reduce our carbon foot print, it will make us better stewards of the environment. There are also good business reasons for the change; this will help us control the cost of service to our customers. Propane burns cleaner and therefore reduces the maintenance costs for our equipment; less used motor oil to dispose of. We have found that the price of Propane does not fluctuate like it does for gasoline, and this should help us control the cost of providing our services.
